With over 40 years’ experience, Brookes Outfitters & Tailors offer bespoke tailoring for men and women, including classically tailored suits, trousers and skirts made on the premises in Barnard Castle.

The process of getting something made from us

 From start to finish we like to give our undivided attention to yourself and the work we will be producing to make it as special as it should be, as you aren't just paying for the garment but the service too! The time it takes to make a gentleman's suit is usually 8-10 weeks, although we can work to deadlines. In your first appointment we discuss and take notes of the style of your suit and choice of cloth, and here we would take measurements. 

We like to have minimum of 2 fittings although we may require more to ensure the perfect fitting suit, if all is well after the 2nd fit we will go on to finish your garment, then all is yours to go strut your stuff.
